A new year always begins with predictions for the upcoming 12 months. So why don’t we look at some Business Continuity Management / Disaster Recovery trends and perhaps have some fun too?

So last year at this time, I developed a list of my Top Ten Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery Trends for 2014. Some were borne out (The rise in malicious cyber attacks will continue). Some were ongoing (Social Media will continue to drive BC/DR response). And at least one was ominous (Be prepared for the Matrix, the Robot Uprising, or Skynet!).

xMatters and I received great positive feedback from the article and the corresponding webinar, hosted by Disaster Recovery Journal. In fact, it broke Disaster Recovery Journal’s record for registrations and attendees. We thank our friends and colleagues for that honor.

So we decided to do it again. On January 28 at 11:00 a.m. PST, xMatters will conduct the webinar with the good folks at Disaster Recovery Journal. I will be the featured speaker and I will foretell my Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery Trends for the upcoming year. And like last year, I will keep you updated on the expected Robot Uprising!
