xMatters Appoints Vice President of Product Marketing

Former Salesforce and Dell Executive Joins Intelligent Cloud Communications Technology Leader

SAN RAMON, CA – August 5, 2015 – xMatters, inc., a leader in communication-enabled business processes, today announced that it has named Sendhil Jayachandran vice president of product marketing. Jayachandran joins xMatters with the mission of growing product success within target markets through effective positioning, market intelligence, sales enablement and awareness initiatives.

Jayachandran most recently served as head of product marketing for Bluenose Analytics, an early-stage customer success analytics company. Prior to Bluenose Analytics, he was director of product marketing for Salesforce, where he led product marketing efforts to launch the Community Cloud. Before that, Jayachandran was senior product marketing manager at KACE Networks, a systems management startup acquired by Dell in 2010. There, he was responsible for managing the K2000 Systems Deployment Appliance, a flagship product, and helped grow year-over-year unit sales by 95 percent.

Jayachandran holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and holds a B.S. in computer science and engineering from UCLA.
