Abbas brings over 15 years in networking, cloud-based services, and multi-modal communications. He has helped create the vision for adopting intelligent communication strategies across business scenarios. He holds a BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto.
Coming from a deep Service Management background, he enjoys all elements of the daily firefight, root cause analysis, progressing forward with change and service transition. Now relishing the opportunity to manage a department, he is passionate about transforming Customer Service, the Service Desk and building on the current DevOps relationship.
Graduating with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Leicester, George has spent his professional career working on critical IT projects; from the London 2012 Olympic games through to supporting mobile phone network O2’s 25 million customers. Having spent the past 4 years in major incident management, George currently manages the team within O2 managing critical incidents 24/7/365.
Ty Flippin is currently Vice President of Business Development at xMatters, Inc. He began his career in IT Development, QA, and Operations before joining Mercury in a technical presales role. At xMatters, his team is responsible for building relationships with partners that bring process and technology together for continued improvement.
Dominic Wellington is Chief Evangelist at Moogsoft, where his primary focus is on the emerging field of AIOps - the application of algorithmic and machine-learning techniques to IT operations. He has been involved in IT operations for a number of years, most recently in marketing and communicating the value of integrating security into operations (what is now known as SecOps). Previously Dominic supported BMC customers across Europe, the Middle East and Africa in their strategic cloud projects.
Mike is a driven, diligent and seasoned professional and learning services manager with 19 years’ experience in diverse private enterprise commercial and public business sectors. He has a track record of consistently delivering high quality, customer focused IT solutions and projects. He is a creative problem solver and has designed, deployed and managed leading ITIL industry standard best practices and processes, resulting in improved service response time metrics, customer satisfaction surveys and resource management.
Domnick Eger is a Global DevOps Practitioner at Splunk focusing on DevOps, APM, and Next Generation Software Development. Domnick has spent 15 years of his career in Engineering, Security and Operations. His previous experience also includes being a Site Reliability Engineer and had the opportunity to work on bleeding edge development on a cutting edge Openstack platform for a global datacenter provider. He also holds a Bachelors in Business and Master in Organization Management. He is a father of 3 boys and spends a lot of his time in between work and kids working on Internet of Things and working with multiple open source projects.

At Telefonica--or as UK consumers know it: O2--George Guthrie is the Major Incident Lead, a business-critical role for the leading provider of mobile phones and mobile service. After a series of events brought part of the mobile network down, the team quickly realized they needed to upgrade the way they collaborate across stakeholders during an incident or continue to pay the heavy burden of lengthy outages. So, Guthrie and his team embarked on a journey to bring their incident resolution processes up to date. After upgrading their collaboration processes they were able to improve their mean time to engage stakeholders by more than 85%. That was an expected result. What they didn’t expect was the culture shift that came along with upgrading their communication strategy. Learn why keeping their on-call teams and stakeholders aligned and happy proved to be a crucial step for O2 to move forward as an organization.
