Marketing Operations Manager

About the Position


The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for architecting a scalable and efficient engine to acquire new customers.  You will design automated processes and establish objective criteria to convert interested prospects into meaningful sales opportunities. You will help create visibility around KPIs in order for the organization make business improving decisions. A passion for data analysis and creating predictable, repeatable outcomes is embedded in your DNA. You will work with with all related functions (e.g. Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales) to optimize a robust customer acquisition model.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute on a forward-thinking vision for marketing operations, measurement, and technology implementation
  • Expert level knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce and business analytics tools to drive campaign execution and business analytics
  • Utilize Marketo to build and execute marketing campaigns including campaign flows, email creation, developing dynamic content and complex nurture streams, landing page creation, form creation, webinars, lead scoring, and more
  • Own, measure, and iterate on full-funnel processes required to achieve lead qualification and lead velocity milestones
  • Refine integration between Salesforce and Marketo to ensure campaign tracking and proper ROI measuring for campaign analysis
  • Define and report on scorecard level and execute summary level KPI’s across the business funnel including lead conversion, attribution and velocity metrics
  • Identify marketing funnel improvement areas, and develop process/engagement solutions with the marketing and sales team

Preferred Professional Qualifications

  • 3-5 years' experience in Marketing Operations or similar role
  • Advanced skills in Marketo (certification preferred), Salesforce (certification preferred), and Einstein analytics/Data Studio or comparable BI tool
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Sirius Demand Waterfall model or equivalent best practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple projects across marketing and sales
  • Data-driven mindset and analytical skills to isolate patterns, trends, or flags to make business-improving decisions
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to take ownership of managed initiatives
  • Cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on key projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical subject matter
