Dinner? Your place or ours?
xMatters believes that should be your decision. We provide private cloud platforms (your place), hyrbrid options (dinner at your place, night cap at ours) and fully hosted cloud options (our place where everything is taken care of for you). Below are some considerations to help you make an educated choice.
On premise software
Our platform and engines can be delivered on your premises. This is often a good idea for IT management applications where you want the maximum flexibility and on your premise is your prerogative. We support multiple operating system and database choices, we also equip you with the ability to offer your clients with IT management, IT service alerts, emergency alerts or customer notification alerts all from your on premise software.
Hybrid services
We find that many of our existing on premises clients have a few things they would like help with. One is often sending SMS messages all over the world. So we offer SMS consolidation services to our clients. Another concern is if the on premise system is too busy or not reachable during a major incident. Well we also offer the ability for you to have another system in the cloud, just in case. Additionally we offer voice services including conferencing which you might find to be helpful to make us responsible.
On demand cloud
We also offer two types of hosting services for our clients who want to make the xMatters’ xPerts, as we call ourselves, fully responsible. We’re down with that.
- We also deliver relevance engines using a cloud based strategy. Elastic infrastructure allows us to offer our engines on demand which are great for single purpose applications. Emergency notification is a good example. Not a lot of configuration required, it just needs to be there when you need it. This model is super for offering an economical cloud offering. Did you know some mass notification vendors use a fixed number of phone lines and you share with everyone else? We provide an elastic voice cloud not a fixed set of ports that you have to fight over.
- We also offer a fully hosted platform as a service offering. This is similar to having the relevance engine platform on your premise but we are your IT operations staff, we are your developers, operations, teleco, application support and help desk teams for this application all rolled into one! This offering is ideal for more complex client needs where you just don’t want the expense, delay or hassle of running on premise.
