Our products are used by the Fortune 500 and we have developed a hard-earned reputation for exceeding our client?s expectations.

We are growing dramatically and are increasing the size of our Consulting Practice. We are seeking a dynamic experienced Professional Services person who is interested in being part of the xMatters team (i.e., we all pitch in and help wherever we can for the success of our customers, projects and ultimately xMatters).

This experienced consultant is responsible for performing consulting services for the deployment of xMatters software. Facilitates all components of a consulting engagement from beginning to end, resulting in a functioning implementation. Plans, manages, and delivers consulting work on-time and within scope. Estimates accurately the level of effort to complete a consulting project and maintains current and thorough technical expertise on the xMatters products. Communicates regularly with customers throughout projects resulting in effective relationships. Strives to improve xMatters by taking on initiatives to better the company.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fulfills consulting activities for customers of xMatters, post sale, by performing all facets of each engagement, including client management, implementation, and knowledge transfer activities
  • Manages client expectations and scope for each engagement
  • Determines and implements the technical solution, including architecture design, that best meets the customer?s needs in the time available
  • Seeks out a win-win approach to a quick initial deployment, that provides product adoption and an early win
  • Maintains technical Subject Matter Expertise on the full suite of xMatters products
  • Assists in the scoping of activities and effort for Consulting engagements
  • Identifies areas of improvement for xMatters and is proactive in the solutions

Qualifications / Necessary Skills:

  • 5+ years in Professional Services
  • 3+ years managing client relationships
  • 3+ years?Project Management
  • 2+ years Java programming
  • Excellent verbal & written communication for both technical and business content at all levels within an organization
  • Proven expertise in developing and deploying technical solutions
  • Strong project planning and organizational skills
  • Strong problem solving & analysis skills (i.e. the ability to translate client requirements & objectives into a technical solution)
  • Ability to work independently with a high degree of integrity and accountability
  • Technical experience in of the following:
    • JavaScript
    • HTML & Web page development
    • XML
    • Data transformation
    • Unix Administration?(Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, Linux)
    • Windows Administration
    • Databases (MS SQL Server, Oracle, DB2)
    • Up to 80% travel

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree required
