Technical Sales Advisor

Our partners include CA, BMC Software, Hewlett Packard, IBM and other leading ESM companies. Our products are used by Fortune 500 customers and we have developed a hard-earned reputation for exceeding our over 1000 client’s expectations.

We are growing dramatically and are increasing the size of our presales technical sales Advisor team. We are seeking a dynamic experienced Advisor for the greater London, England are who is interested in being part of the xMatters team and culture; we all work with the ‘same-team’ mentality and help wherever we can for the success of our customers, projects and ultimately xMatters. Greater London area is preferred however strong candidates in other areas will be considered.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

You will be one of the key presales technical resources within xMatters. Key activities include demonstration, solution sales, business value assessment, proof of value delivery and engagement scoping.

  • Strong dedication to turning prospects into successful clients
  • WebEx and onsite presentations and demonstrations
  • Installation and configuration of xMatters software and integrations to support proof of value
  • Engagement scoping in support of xMatters Consulting implementation
  • Creation of business value analysis documentation for supporting the sales process and justification
  • Insanely good client service ability
  • Travel required

Qualifications / Necessary Skills:

  • 3+ years of software pre-sales experience
  • Strong solution sales history
  • Scripting-level programming abilities preferred
  • Hands on experience with system management or incident management systems preferred
  • Experience and knowledge of business continuity processes
  • Familiarity with premise and cloud based solutions
  • Solid understanding of business processes and optimization
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Ability to interact at all levels in a customer organization


Bachelors Degree preferred
